I will firstly share my personal feelings regarding my body and how I felt about it. For the longest time I was insecure about my body, stretch marks, belly fat and everything you can think of. I could never just buy any outfit because of my insecurities. I have nice tight dresses I bought a while ago but I never wore them because of my “uneven “body and they don’t even fit anymore because I never wore them. I have realized how people’s thoughts and opinions matter to women. What people tell us about our bodies either dents our confidence or makes us feel better about ourselves. This applies to close people to us, partner, friends and siblings. I know how I got irritated when bae would comment about my cute stretch marks whether he was joking or not. I know not every women can stand up for their bodies. I truly believe it starts with us, how we embrace our bodies and take care of it the way we feel it’s suitable for us.
Once people’s opinions matter we become so miserable that we feel uncomfortable in our own skin. The more we appreciate and love our bodies, trust me, people even find it hard to say anything or even to see your flaws. Try it you’ll see how great you’ll feel.
My biggest thing has to be my belly fat, tjeses it annoys me. I have tried everything, lemon, honey, water, ginger, cabbage water, green tea, weight loss shakes and teas etc. , NOTHING SEEMED TO WORK!!! Oooh and I also tried working out which only lasted two weeks haha, I know m not the only one here, but when I developed a positive mind around my body and belly fat all of a sudden it looked alil flat hahah trust me it’s not but because I am embracing it, I can even wear anything without being really worried about my belly, it’s such a great feeling. It sucks to tuck in your belly the whole day. Like ITS PAINFUL BATHONG!!!
I have friends that always complain about their belly fat and I don’t see what they see in the mirror, now that shows how powerful the mind is. It all starts with how we think about ourselves and appreciating our bodies.
The problem is what we think of our bodies and what you think of yourself. I learned that beauty begins when you are comfortable in your own skin whether thick, slim, and slender or fit. Those bae’s that contribute to this insecurities are _#@!*, I’m sorry to say but someone who loves you sees beyond your flaws and appreciates you just the way you are
Now shout out to all the ladies working on loving their bodies because that thaang ain’t easy AT ALL!!!
